Your Training and Installation Education... 

Southern Films Distribution is an Authorized 3M Training Facility. Southern Films Distribution’s Training Facility is 2000 sq ft that can be converted for Flat Glass training, Automotive training, Paint Protection training, and Sales Training.

Our Flat Glass Training is taught in house by our qualified trainers here at Southern Films Distribution. We will provide you with the skills to hang window film on residential windows and commercial windows. We have multiple windows set up that you will be able to practice on. We also give instruction on Impact Protection Adhesive, and Impact Protection Profile installation used in a safety film application. At the end of the class you will receive a certificate certifying you as 3M Installer. A Sales class is also offered covering product knowledge and sales techniques.  

For our Automotive Training we use actual cars. We have an in house 3M qualified trainer that trains here at Southern films Distribution. We teach the installer proper techniques of cleaning car windows, cutting film, and shrinking back windows. Southern Films Distribution will be giving the trainee a certificate certifying you as a 3M Automotive Installer. A Sales class is also offered where we will be helping the trainee with different sales techniques, and product knowledge. 

Our Paint Protection class is taught in house by our certified Paint Protection trainer. We will be teaching the trainee how to apply paint protection film to different parts of the vehicle. We offer many different front ends of cars to give the trainee everything from an easy application to a difficult application. We also go over the use of a plotter and software. A sales class is also included with the installation class to give the trainee the skills to sell at the retail level and in the dealerships. Upon completion of the class you will receive a certificate from 3M certifying you as a 3M Authorized Paint Protection Installer.

We do offer a sales class to anyone wanting to get started, someone who would like to join the 3M team, or our current dealers who are looking for new ideas. Our Sales Class will cover how to get the lead, cultivate the lead and close the lead. It will offer techniques that can be used in residential sales and commercial sales.
